Label: Red Sky Digital Format: 12" Vinyl Genre: Trance
This second release on Red Sky Digital is a solo effort from label boss Matt Church who can also be found DJing as one of the residents of Puzzle Project.
With 4 mixes covering a couple of styles of Trance this should be available sometime in November.
Original
Plenty of energy in the build up with this one with layers of sounds and a pretty sweet groove. The break down is floaty and fluffy with loads of great sounds, it’s about 30 seconds too long for me but then I like my breakdowns short and sweet. It kicks back in with a big riff that is pretty sure to get the dance floor going mad.

Nathan Cryptic & Baz Lalor Remix
Very different. Scores marks straight away for offering something so different from the original. Tasty Prog Trance with a funky little bass line building up and up before a little vocal stab and airy sounds get added to the mix. Another long break down, kind of expected in Proggy stuff though. When it comes back it’s a delight though with all manner of variations on the original. Good stuff.
9/10
Adriz Remix
Adriz’s remix of the first Red Sky release Quake turned a lot of heads and with that to live up to I can safely say this guy might be a bit of a find.
He’s taken the original and tweaked rather than totally changed it, with so many aspects of the original still in place. It just, I dunno, lifts it a touch further.
8.5/10
Matt Church & Kevin Shepherd Dirtbag Remix
The two people behind the label join forces under their Dirtbag guise. Why Dirtbag, you find out after the breakdown when some dirty Acid kicks in when you’re expecting a big arm waving riff. Heads down instead which is just as much fun.
All in all a good follow up to Quake and I think this label is going to go from strength to strength. Especially with the support it is getting from big DJs and with some of the tracks tucked away for future release.
