Psychedelic trance sorcerer Merlin's Apprentice aka Steve Birch drops another bomb on Free-Spirit Records and it's not for the faint-hearted.
The 'Revolution' EP erupts with the infectious 'Luna', where our budding alchemist samples one of the London psy scene's most loved bubbas, the beautiful baby Luna, and the source of inspiration for this spectacularly tribal stompathon.
Next up, 'The Balloon Song' is a tribute to everyone's favourite hippie crack, taking the dancefloor on a totally immersive trip for the mind, body and soul. Containing Merlin's signature euphoric melodies, banging basslines and mind-twisting samples, you can't help but want to queue up for another round of this melodic medicine.
The shamans unite on 'Revolution' and it's on the final collaboration with Core Data where things really get serious — and the party truly gets started. Jonny Royall's distinctive soundscapes add an ethereal atmosphere to Merlin's psychedelic brew and the result is something truly revolutionary.
