Are you ready for this? This one is huge. Six mixes? Yes please. Scott Attrill provides the first with the other mixes coming in stages over the next few weeks or so. Still to come, we have selections from Bexta, Andrea Montorsi, Jon Bishop, Diablik and Aaron Olson. First though, it's the Scott Attrill mix. Ready for a musical Riot!?
Comprising Scott's trademark Hard Electrik sound, it's not quite trance, it's not techno; it's a combination of styles actually. Let's face it though, if you're interesting in Scott Attrill or indeed Riot! Recordings, you'll have pre-ordered this already.
With a varied selection of tracks, this is typical Attrill. Hard, uncompromising and very sexy. Tracks and remixes come from BK, Scott Attrill, Scot Project, Leon B, Organ Donors, Heavens Cry and more. The mixing is tight and precise; cool mixture of artists merging to form what is essentially a worthwhile and, in general, a very rewarding mix. Favourite tracks for me? Well, the bonkers Organ Donors mix of Bassturbation by A*S*Y*S stands out, as does Scott's own re-rub of Heavens Cry at the tail end of the mix and the BK remix of The Ritual by Phil York & Technikal.
Still to come in this series, we have 5 (yes, 5!) more mixes coming your way so a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks or so. Hopefully, they'll all be as good as this first mix, if not better. Myself though? I don't think you should wait any longer.
