This is the second release (I hope) from Electrik Shandy and comes with an impressive trio of tracks that all offer an interesting take on the Hard Dance sound. With Simon Qudos & Greg Brookman, Pero and Alex Mac & Zeebra kid all providing the goods.

Simon Qudos and Greg Brookman - TyDye
This is a nice little track that mixes Psychedelic Trance and Hard Dance sounds. Something that is becoming more and more common, and when done well, is very good.
This is done well. It builds up with a lovely wobbliness about it and the breakdown has some fantastic sounds that could be straight from the War of The Worlds album and is a jumbled up affair, will certainly get the eyeballs wobbling!

Pero - Damage Effect.
This is a cracking little track. I’m a sucker for pianos and this delivers something quite lovely in the breakdown. A very orchestral, concert like piano line fills up the breakdown and is simply wonderful, after hearing it once it sat in my head for days. The piano riff works really well when it changes sound before kicking back in with awesome effect and tons of energy. I love it and will hammer it.

Alex Mac & Zeebra Kid - Into The Light
This is the most typically Hard Dance track of the three and takes big influences from the Alphazone sound. A bubbling little acid sound that sits under the track as it builds is very cool. The breakdown is dramatic with lots of big stuttering stabs and drums to suit. It all hammers back in Euro style with a nice uncomplicated riff. Good stuff.

All three of them are great tracks in their own right with Into the light being a nice, energetic Hard Trance track. TyDye utilises some great sounds throughout and Damage Effect is just lovely.
