Fektive Records releases their latest mix compilation double CD album titled "Unfold # 2", mixed by Christopher Lawrence.

Unfold #2 (Compilation Mix Album)

I must start by being totally honest, and despite being heavily involved in the Trance side of the industry - I so far don't actually know too much about Christopher Lawrence. This double compilation is also made up of many tracks that the average Trance fan may not recognise, just as i didn't. Not that this any bad thing at all, it's in some ways refreshing to see such a fresh tracklisting.

The first mix is very progressive and deep indeed, and for me is more appealing as a listening album than that to make me get up and move. CD2 has more drive about it, with Lawrences Psy affiliation in there on certain tracks. In fact psy basslines dominate the entire mix, and it has some fantastic energy - I thoroughly enjoyed the second disc, and I also liked the first. With some great variety over the course of the two, this one is going straight in the car for a really good alternative to the rest of what I have in there. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire thing - it's most definitely worth a listen, and if psy trance is your thing then I would suggest you grab it. Good stuff again from Fektive, and Lawrence.
