Hard-Fi will join Ian Brown as joint headliners of Hi:Fi South, giving just one more reason why you’ll be “living for the weekend”, which in this case is the last bank holiday weekend in May.
Hi:Fi is an incredible new double music event taking place in May 2006 simultaneously over two separate sites in the north and the south of the country. It will re-write history as the FIRST EVER music festival to boast a line up of both blocking-rocking bands and superstar DJs.
Hi:Fi South will be a two day camping festival in the legendary Matterley Bowl near Winchester taking place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May between 2pm and 4am each day. Headliners include:

Hi:Fi is the brainchild of the Angel Music Group who are responsible for Global Gathering which last year sold out with record breaking numbers of 40,000 people. It adds a new more eclectic style of festival to their global portfolio of events. Glastonbury’s talent booker, Martin Elbourne was invited to programme the bands and help create a fresh new festival for the noughties.
James Algate the event organiser commented on the new event:
“Hi:Fi South is the perfect complement to Hi:Fi North and offers festival lovers the chance to camp at an event that will bring them face to face with their rock and dance heroes together for the first time. Making the event a two-day affair will ensure an incredible atmosphere and a great way to kick start the summer.
Like Hi:Fi North, Hi:Fi South will feature a quality bill of non-music entertainment including chill out areas, exclusive VIP arenas and a cinema. Bands from the local area will also be able to enter a promotion to perform live in front of the huge crowds, which is an amazing one off opportunity.
