| Age: | 48 | | Background: | Hailing from London, ‘Adam White’ has been DJing professionally for the last 9 years. Initiated at a very early age, Adam’s thriving musical interests led to the successful completion of his Grade 8 piano by the age of 15. Once he left school, Adam continued to pursue his interests at college, at which he studied ‘Music Technology’ at HND level. During his time studying, Adam discovered his immense enthusiasm for Dance Music, and subsequent passion for DJing.
Adam’s DJ career has since excelled to a highly professional level, thus leading to performances at a variety of the world’s most prestigious clubs including ‘The Ministry of Sound’, ‘Hanover Grand’ (London) ‘El Divino’, ‘Bora Bora’ and Eden (Ibiza) and the famous ‘Groovejet’ (Miami). Adam has also guested regularly at major film studio events for music promoters such as ‘Pushca’ and ‘Submission’ and has played at a variety of record label parties including ‘Inferno,’ ‘Serious’ and ‘Tidy Trax.’ Adam has also held residencies with UK clubs such as ‘Return To The Source’, ‘The Warehouse’, ‘Kinky’, ‘Catch 23’ and ‘Submission’.
During his time performing, Adam (previously known as TheManAdam) has played alongside highly recognized names in the business such as the legendary Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Brandon Block, Alex P and Dave Pearce. The majority of technical skills successfully mastered by Adam have resulted from the time spent working alongside Graham Gold and Franco Conte at early ‘Peach’ events at London’s ‘Café de Paris’. The Man has a specifically unique style with regard to both his music and performance.
His deliverance of melodic trance and driving house has placed him amongst the elite. His degree of animation behind the decks in conjunction with his infectious mixing skills, combine together to create an overall outstanding and unforgettable experience.
Adam is currently touring the UK with Euphoria and has so far completed well over 250 dates throughout 2001 and 2002. The success of the tour is reflected by the confirmation of various residencies in clubs around the country.
Adam spent the summer of 2002 in Ibiza as resident DJ for Euphoria at Eden. He played a total of 15 weeks alongside Dave Pearce, playing both warm-up and closing sets every Saturday night. Adam also played pre-party sets at Coastline and the infamous Bar M in San Antonio.
Adam’s involvement in the music world has led to an employment opportunity with ‘Telstar Records.’ Adam has worked as a key member of the A&R team for Euphoria for 2 years now, selecting tracks for compilations and also various labels involved with Telstar & Tailormade Music. He has compiled and mixed alongside Dave Pearce “Total Euphoria” which went on to sell in excess of 150,000 at Christmas 2002. Adam also did the same with ‘Absolute Euphoria’, which entered the album chart at number 3 on its week of release. He most recently compiled and mixed alongside Matt Darey the ‘Best Of Euphoria’ Album, which has gone on to be the biggest selling album in the Euphoria series so far. Adam has just finished mixing an exclusive album for dancelabel.com called “Liquid – A Journey Into Euphoric Trance”.
Future plans include studio projects with various producers including Matt Darey, a monthly residency at Heaven in London with Euphoria and dates confirmed for 2003 all over the UK, Ireland and Ibiza.
