This is "Guilty Pleasure" by Sally Shapiro, a delightful album of electronic pop delights. And it REALLY is delightful. Chock full of nice laid-back grooves and funkiness, this album really does ooze class.
Normally, I'd give you some spiel about the artist but I've missplaced the PR sheet which came with this so I'll have to try and remember what was on there so I can try and at least give you some idea as to what I'm talking about. Anyway, going back to the subject in question; I'm really digging this album. Some cool tracks on it like the whimsical "Moonlight Dance", which is very nice indeed and the final track "Miracle" which sounds like it was recorded during a thunderstorm, judging by the peels of thunder throughout the track. From the opening track, "Swimming Through The Blue Lagoon" and the second track, "Staring At The Stars", you get the idea that this album was crafted with people who like dance music in mind. Now this is what I DO remember from the PR sheet; Sally doesn't really like going clubbing so its quite strange that this is an almost clubby album...so you can have a boogie to it.
This is a nice album with tracks to melt even the hardest heart. Whimiscal beats, elven vocals and nice effects. One to buy or at least have a listen to.
