Chris MiMo follows up "Parachute" and "MiMo" with this bomb on Big In Ibiza. Those who know the Big In Ibiza sound will know to expect a large dose of funky house goodness with a remix from Tim Andresen.
Now simply known as Chris MiMo, after dropping the Jones from his name, this individual has been responsible for some high-profile remixes for the likes of Fonzerelli, Daniele Popini Vs Mauro Picotto and his own tunes including "MiMo" and "Parachute". Now he drops new tune "Pick Me Up" which is a funky tech-fuelled bomb with nice melodies and a fairly meaty beat behind it. I can imagine this being played at the funkier nightspots in the UK and Ibiza. It might also be a Miami tune but time will tell.
Tim Andresen pops up on the remix front and while its a more laid-back version, it still has a nice rhythm to nod your head to. However, I feel the original mix is a better version but I may well change my mind after listening to this remix a few more times. Saying that though, I feel the original mix has more oomph to it. This is more laid-back and the beat isn't as pronounced but it does have nice effects and a groovy bassline. I will, however, leave it up to you but I'd stick with the original.
