Firstly, apologies for taking so long to get this review up... for one reason or another I've been well sidetracked recently!

Anyway...

Hyperventilate:
A difficult one to put into any sort of category really - lucky for me then that we have the 'hard dance' tag these days! The one starts off nice and strong and percussive, before rolling into the bassline - typically the funky type from Mr Farley. Cue loads more percussion again and complimenting random noises. Not really alot going on, but enough to keep the dancefloor moving.
Then into the break - nice and sudden, with a nicely filtered vocal sample, and rising dirty techno riff! Builds up nicely before breaking back into the track with a momentary pause for a catchy little vocal. Pounds along with riff and percussion giving a very full feeling to the track, before re-introducing the groovy little vocal. Eventually rolls out to just the funky bassline again, before finishing. This little number would fit very nicely at the peak of a thumping techno set!

Connected:
We've been hearing alot more trancier stuff coming Andy recently, and with tracks like this under his belt its no wonder why!
An intro that keeps you interested soon gives way to the, once again, funky feel bassline! In turn then drop numerous synths, hinting at whats to come. The track doesnt waste any time and soon drops into the break - a very distinctive, almost '99 trance feel to it, as it rises and then flows smoothly back into the track! Kicks along again, with riff accompanied by some nice phased fx. Riff and 303(ish) acid line then filter out for a quick 32 beat break. Everything kicks back in and then slowy fade/filter out until the finish! Great production, great tune - hats off! ;o)
