I know what it is like.
I have had roman gypsies as my neighbours a while ago.
Not a wordof English but still managed a word or two out of politness.

Do you live in a caravan or did they live in a house?

They lived in the house next door to me
My window looked into their garden.
They had the garden as an extension to the house.
They had two lorries topped up with junk they would bring to the house and fill the garden with.
They dealt in other people's in junk.
It was a freightful site and really said a lot about themselves.
They really are not made for living indoors/ houses.

2 + 2 = 5 for large values of 2

For people who roam and travel the land they sure do like staying put for long periods of time.

I have no problem with them as a whole, if they want to live like that let them. There should be some land these people can have. You'd just hpe they look after it.
They took over the car park when I worked at DHL and when they finally let 2 weeks later it was like the place had been nuked by shitty nappies and empty beer cans.
If they weren't such lazy cunts (and many seem to be as they don't want to work but get slaves to do it for them) and actually worked the land and did some good they would have a much better image.
You heary the word traveller, gypsy or pikey and automatically think of grubby people that think the World owes them a living.

Fuck off you numpty.

Imagine this multiplied up to the number of pitches in this dale farm place and imagine wht it would be like living ext to that.

I know of one pike that turned his back on the travelling life. Bit of rogue but lives in a place with loads of land and livery stables for income. Not a shit hole at all. He hates travellers more than any one.

Plastic Pony - Agree with most of that. It's their lack of respect and free loading tendancies that cause them problems. If they lived peacefully and made an honest living, paid taxes etc, things would be different.

People are more important than a green belt.
In a human court of law that would be the verdict.
This obviously would be the only exception to the rule.

Oh right - in that case lets keep destroying the green areas in the world as people are more important.

Oh bugger, green areas sustain the environment - small flaw in that plan.

Exactly! Might throw a few books in there for good measure.

what you on about? I quite like the idea of south london joining up with Brighton. 50 miles of urban sprawl. Sounds like heaven.
