With this their first visit to Jamm, Solid Grooves is the perfect place to find exclusive underground electronic music that brings forth a line up and knowledgable crowd of clubbers that will tear up the dance floor to a top quality soundtrack provided by some serious talent including Max Chapman, James Pople, Francesca Lombardo and Bibi.
Dedicated to DeepHouse, Tech and Nu Disco, the line up on show will take control of both rooms with some serious class and show what underground dance music is all about.
The Line up:
MAX CHAPMAN is a regular at some of the most prolific parties and venues in the UK, with Sankeys (Manchester), Back to Basics (Leeds) and Creche (London) all falling for his crunching basslines and melodic grooves in 2011.
Max's first EP, the Lost EP on Electronique Digital, won instant acclaim - with "Don't Go" being featured on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show and instantly shooting to the top of the Beatport Charts.
JAMES POPLE Playing alongside the likes of Cozzy D and Alexis Raphael at Creche has seen him become a big name fast!
His sound crosses woozy, eerie and frighteningly sharp deep-house grooves. From the slow canter and soul influence of 'Who's That Girl?' to the electro-soaked melodies of his debut release 'Keep It Up' on Lower East.
FRANCESCA LOMBARDO the London based DJ, Vocal Techniques graduate and accomplished pianist first surfaced under the Jackie Misfit guise. With this alias, she DJed at various underground parties plus Brixton Academy and The Drom in the English capital. She has an upcoming EP on Crosstown Rebels and she has also been signed to the much lauded Rebel Agency alongside the likes of scene darlings Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex and Art Department.
BIBI has been DJing on the Underground scene for the past 4 years and with this experience he has established himself as a resident at different parties throughout the UK and in Ibiza. Now the latest resident of SolidGrooves.
