Well the title of this forum speaks for itself now I am an old member of this site but even this site seems to have lost its way this used to be a community of avid hard dance fans the even now I have looked on the Whats On Guide page and cannot see any hard dance events
So this is my question has hard dance really died or has it just lost its way to the European trash they're calling EDM what on earth is going on world and where have all the decent raves gone to in London they can't all just died a death
Is hard dance really dead,,,,, oh has it just lost its way show all that European trash that they call EDM

Hard dance is still alive and well. In fact Frantic are having a 20th birthday soon. And Riot is on at Easter. Vinyl Warriors smashed it last weekend. HDM still runs regularly.
I don't really go out much any more but I do know that hard dance is still around.

No, far from it.
Think clubbing as a whole is seeing a bit of a resurgence but HH is certainly doing well.
Would be nice to see some of the producers try something a bit different. Seems to be remixes of remixes of remixes of old Hard Dance classics doing the rounds.

dead no, stumbling along like it has been run over by a truck, yes.
It's Sunday afternoon, everybody has gone home hours ago after what was a blinding Saturday night. But there are a few people sitting in a room with the curtains drawn hardly speaking except to suggest that everybody does another double header.
That's hard dance today.

compared to it's heyday its a fair comment.
I disagree, it's a dumb comment.
The way you describe it is as a scene that is scrabbling for people and not a scene that is seeing more parties, more music and more radio shows coming through than I’ve seen in years.
