Club Night - Zoology 15

You probably want to try and get some DJs involved in promotions already that have a fan base they can push your event to.
So people like Miles Gorfy for HDM, Danny Gilligan for Vinyl Warriors and maybe someone from Twist...
Skol is always popular and always reliable as well. Any of the Frantic residents.

If I were you I'd be looking at some upcoming Hard Dance line ups and get some inspiration from there.

It is such a shame because I still love it but I've been under a rock so

No it doesn't.

This site has a much lower regular user count than it used to.
People not responding to a thread does not give an indication of a scene being dead.

I've mentioned parties pushing it and I've mentioned DJs/Promoters you should contact.
Not sure what else you want. Get in contact with them and see what the scene is like, go out to parties and see what the scene is like... Don't write it off because of a couple of posts on a forum.

I think you need to put a bit more effort in yourself TBH but that's my opinion. As LZ said, go and have a look at the scene and make your own conclusions.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those that could not hear the music -Nietzsche

You do realise that if you want to put on an event, you should do your own research and not rely on a chat forum to create your night for you? HD is alive and well, I suggest you go find it before getting sand in your crease about it on here.

Fair comments. I did get a bit disheartened. I am going to get out there and see myself. I must say this site was the first place I thought of. But we all have moved on.

I am glad that hard dance is still going. I can't wait to play again.

I am no expert in these matters, but on the London club scene generally I haven't really noticed a hard dance revival. An established name from back in the day could put on a reunion night once a year but I think it would be hard for a new promoter.
Reggae is currently experiencing abit of a resurgence and Garage came back about four years ago and drum & base, jungle always seem to be around but not hard dance.
Caister Soul has had quite a resurgence amongst your really old clubber so maybe it will be hard dance turn in about five or so years time.
Also in its heyday it attracted a lot of Aussies whom are not likely in the country anymore, it wasn't as popular with your locals.
