"As dj 's no waste, but the union is strength and they show, going from the most atmospheric electronic music to techno more devastating with retro touches."

From the above, does retro touches Mean they have minimal parts? I know the atmospheric comment certainly doesn't.

Devastating techno, what a cool way to describe it Laughs out loud

Saturday at Printworks reminded me how dull Techno and Tech House can be when done wrong.

Thank fuck for Ellen Allien who played a cracking set to help save the day.

R1: Chris Liebing | Ellen Allien | Julia Govor | Kiasmos (DJ SET) |
Mind Against | Recondite (live)

R2: SUPERSTITION: Tommy Four Seven | Inigo Kennedy I Tijana T I PATHWORKS | Tapefeed | PLEIADES |
Flaminia (live) I Ossa di Mare (live)

Kiasmos was boring as you like. Mind Against were good but as a live set it started to sound the same after a while. Was getting good when we left.
Missed mr Liebing who was, as expected, amazing so I am told.

Second room was much better, harder and more industrial... But still, not consistent.

Amazing space and I don't really like big venues.
Not sure how rammed it can get but it felt like there were places you could escape.
The lights and sound are just phenomenal.

I'd love a Trance event there but will never happen I imagine.

Liebing, Allien and T47 are the only ones I recognise. If I was going out, I probably wouldve chosen Trance Sanctuary over this. Not a big line up so not really surprised it was pretty average. When Liebing is the headliner for me I usually turn over the page and not interested. Something about his style I find boring Shrugs shoulders
