Guest mix

Greg Downey is one of the shining stars of the UK trance scene. Born in Belfast, he began dj-ing 6 years ago then spent a summer in Ibiza where he was spotted by a promoter of Gatecrasher.

He regularly thrills nights at Lush, Godskitchen, Slinky, Inside Out, Goodgreef, Passion, Gatecrasher, and The Gallery as well as touring to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Shanghai, Poland, and Indonesia.

Greg is also a highly successful producer and remixer. He turned in a fantastic fresh take on Bedrock – Heaven Scent and his own track – Vivid Intent – was Armin’s Tune Of The Week on A State Of Trance.

Paul van Dyk recently asked him to remix New York City from his In Between album and was so impressed he asked Greg to remix Burnin Up by Kuffdam & Plant, forthcoming on PVD’s Vandit label.

Over the next few weeks, you can catch Greg DJing at Oblivion in Belfast, Erotique in Glasgow, and the Reincarnation Weekender in Cork.

This is his first guest mix for Trancecast and we are delighted to welcome him to the show.
