I think he had a decent enough 6N.
Who might you have put in his place: Trimble, Zebo, Nowell, May, Visser? All of the above?

Visser possibly, or May would be worth a shout or maybe something completely off the wall like ashton or the lad who has just switched from league to union and is running them in for fun. I just think Williams is quite expensivce with opportunities given to end result, he knocks on waaay too much, not even recycled ball.

LOL!

In other news, England have named their touring squad for Argentina in June, which thankfully Launchbury has made as well as 15 uncapped players.

Very sexcited by the squad for the Maori's match but gutted Farrell is ingured, he'd be my starting no.10 for the tests

Maori All Blacks: J Lowe; N Milner-Skudder, M Proctor, C Ngatai, R Ioane; D McKenzie, T Kerr-Barlow; K Hames, A Dixon (capt), B May, J Wheeler, T Franklin, A Ioane, E Dixon, L Messam.

Replacements: H Elliot, C Eves, M Renata, L Price, K Pryor, B Hall, I West, R Thompson.

Lions: L Halfpenny (Wales); A Watson (England), J Davies (Wales), B Te'o (England), G North (Wales); J Sexton, C Murray (both Ireland); M Vunipola, J George (both England), T Furlong (Ireland), M Itoje, G Kruis (both England), P O'Mahony (capt, Ireland), S O'Brien (Ireland), T Faletau (Wales).

Farrell's omission aside, that's gotta be very close to the starting 15 for the tests from what I've seen.
I'd have Webb over Laidlaw as sub scrum-half, he's far more dynamic.
Rather surprised there's no CJ Stander anywhere in that list, he's been immense in his time on the pitch and makes a great impact sub.

He's played 3 games in a row i think and wasn't as dynamic as he was previously.

I'd rather Biggar than Sexton, i don't think he's got the right mentality, he folds too easily. It's tough to say any of those aren't a good shout though, I'd maybe have Joseph in as a personal preference but i suppose he'd offer more off the bench. I'd like to see something more from halfpenny than just 'solid' as he's a quality player.

Don't rate Henderson, and no doubt the welsh boys will be looking at coming back in at 6 and 7

I really was just talking about the starting 15 there and would have Faz in over both of the other fly halfs.
I missed the game Biggar played in, but am not really a fan - I think he's too mouthy - and needs to play the game rather than appealing to the ref for everything. But I've not been impressed with Sexton either thus far.

I think Jonathan Davies has been pretty solid and was unlucky to get injured in the previous match, although I don't see much between him and JJ, they're both good on their day.
Maybe JJ is a bit more light footed to JD's straight line approach but I'd rate Davies defensively.

Looking forward to Itoje/Kruis lining up for the Lions, they're an awesome partnership.
I've only seen Henderson play in the first match this series and he didn't impress me in that, just realised there's no Alun Wyn Jones?
