my friend i love my technics more than anyhting. the first major purchase i made when i started work. i lived like a hermit for 2 months, not going out and working all hours god gave us to get the money. Since having them i've loved them and could not change them for the world. But since buying a cdj1000 i have come to realise that vinyl will die. Most noticable is the cheapness at which mp3 tracks can be downloaded and getting hold of tracks from friends producing. It means you can get more up front stuff. Plus i just find using cdj1000's feels natural. If i was starting djing today i would buy cd decks over anything to be honest.

2005 is about the breaks and the most uplifting hard trance known to man.

WORD!

If you want to be just another DJ: Technics
If you'd like to bush the boundaries a bit: CDJs
If you want to be a real innovator: Laptop + Ableton
