Label: Discover White Label
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

After appearing on Discover Dark and Defcon, its time for Kinetica to drop on the White Label arm of Recoverworld. Kinetica is an Irish producer with a taste for uncompromising hard music. Trance mainly. With that in mind, this one comes with lot of uplift, lots of acid and a remix from O.B.M. Notion.

The Original Mix is hard! It isn't dark though, which is probably a good thing but, at the same time, it isn't too light. There's a fine balance here and its just at the right tone. The pacing, for me, is super and the acid lines used are suitably energetic and in fine fettle. The main riff is very hard trance, which is odd given the label its on but that's not a bad thing. Yeah, I'm liking this one. A lot. Aciiiiiid!

O.B.M. Notion drops the remix and this focuses on hi-tempo uplifting trance. Not too dissimilar to the Original but with the acid lines toned back and the whole feel of the track is a bit more benign but no less banging. The track has more room to breathe and has more room to allow melody to play and frolic in the confines of the beats. It's lovely stuff this but for me, its the frenetic nature of the Original Mix that I keep coming back to. Superb stuff.
