After experiencing this piece of festival equipment at last years Field Day I decided to return to see what it is like with a more rave like crowd.Above and Beyond are treated more like a rock band with quite a loyal fanbase they play a fairly light weight euphoric trance (mainly their own productions,so you wont hear many classics from yesteryear).Their crowd was an SW4 type of crowd manly there for the headliners so the early DJs were only about half full.(this was a sold out event).Its worth going just to see that some promoters are trying to bring a higher level of production and sound quality to day dance festivals.They seem to have replaced last years green lazers with some blue and white ones which I didnt think were as effective.
I will be back in it next Saturday for Field Day when the Hydra take over so it will be more techno based.
