Label: Captivating
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Trance

Having taken both the trance and hard dance world's by storm with their first 3 releases on Nukleuz, Bristol's finest duo since Way Out West have upped sticks and made a high profile move to Amrin's Captivating label, and this release is the first fruits of their labour.

Both mixes are identical apart from the lack of vocal on the aptly named Dub Mix on Side B, which means you don't get the vocodered male voice telling you about challenging the creativity of life, which could either be a good or bad thing depending on how you see this sort of sample!

Aside from that the track is a superb slice of progressive, uplifting, electro-trance Smile For me these guys have always had their own unique sound, sitting somewhere between trance, techno and hard dance, and this track is no exception. It features an almost Georgio Moroder bassline that keeps the track rocking along nicely, BBE "Flash" like stabs in the build up to a great trance riff in the breakdown that gives the track that trance euphoria, and great percussion for that funkier edge.

Expect this to be big with the big names like PVD, Tiesto and Armin, as well as crossing over into other record boxes. These guys are one of the handful of producers (along with the likes of Nick Sentience) who are actually pushing their music forward Thumbs up
