50/50, like everywhere else. Some nice places, area around station not so great.

tbh, living where you do in Croydon means you won't be too happy anywhere else because you have EVERYTHING in range. You won't get that anywhere in zone 1 - 3.

Except maybe SheBu.

I can cope not having a shopping centre nearby cos I'll be working just off Oxford Street so I'll have plenty of shopping opportunities at lunch/after work. In fact I don't mind if I have to travel a short distance to most things because there will be so much that's not too far to go. Being near a supermarket would be nice.

Then maybe SheBu could be a winner. Zone 2, 2 different tube lines, including central, has shopping centres as well as supermarkets - hammersmith tesco is huge! - plus lots of local nightlife and restaurants/cafes.

Not much nightlife in SheBu, everywhere has been closing down, or at least everywhere that isn't in westfield.

*although it isn't far from Notting hill or hammersmith, admittedly.

Shep Bush is grimy, horrible and thanks to westfield's cunt magnet, it's quite aggy.

Nothing to do either, everything has shut down/noise restrictions.

Download or Stream my DJ Sets.
Listen to my productions; Stakker, Kites & Belleville

And that's much different to Croydon... how?

Go to Surrey Quays rather

Don't think we can afford. We have a budget of £1,500pcm between the two of us if, and only if, my mate can walk to Farringdon in about 40 mins. He's capable of a good marching pace so that's realistically 2.5 miles. If he has to pay for a travelcard his rent budget comes down.

Just read this, move to Gunnersbury, overground, district, piccadilly line, plenty of bus routes and it's not full of c**ts.

Our two bed is £1400.
