We return to the airwaves. Luminosity Beach party is done and dusted and has continued to be the summer pilgrimage for the trance community. Did you go? Have you already booked for next year?
Our guest this month burst onto the scene in 2004 with a track called 2v2. It came bundled with a remix from Robert Nickson & John Askew and gained massive popularity on its release, featuring on the ground breaking ‘Tiesto in Concert’ DVD, catapulting his name into the spotlight. He followed that up with Alone gaining more support and featuring on Paul van Dyk’s Politics of Dancing 2 mix cd. Tracks such as Mass effect, Evaporate, Phoenix Burn have continued his rise and led to an album in 2012 called 'Picking up the Pieces'. A follow up came in 2014 which was more of a chill out album called ‘Inside the Glacier’ showcasing his rich talent for producing. With trips to the deeper tech sound and even incorporating psy sounds he is a true student of the sound. His remix work is even longer that his originals completing work for labels such as Vandit, Anjunabeats, Perfecto, Infrasonic with names such as Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Chicane, John O Callaghan, Solarstone and many more. New music appearing on Damaged and Critical Overload and a new one on Aly & Fila's FSOE. Datt ain't going anywhere...
We have a new feature to the show as well. Flashback will take a look back at some classic tracks that aren't from the normal list. Things that rocked the dancefloors but don't always make it onto the thousands of dance classic compilations. get your suggestions now to
