Damn right, what does a driveway have to do with anything!? it may be worth arguing the case in light of that.
Yeah, it was when she opened it, shame it didn't land on her.
Nothing, they don't like the fact we've got a driveway onto the main road and would prefer it's on the side road.
We're pretty nervous about doing anything inside, years ago we opened up the ground floor by removing walls and doors and I bet that probably doesn't meet the current of fire regs you're facing. And we suspect the stairs up to the top floor are too narrow and too steep but we have no idea how we could do it any other way.
The only things we want to do in this house is to put a bathroom on the top floor and a toilet/utility room on the ground floor, the question is whether either will require planning or building regs One for the future TBH.

It shouldn't require planning as it's internal, not so sure about regs, they may need to sign off the downpipe etc.

I didn't think planning was necessary for bathrooms but the previous owner got it for some reason - they'd drawn outlines of shower & toilet on the floor.
And since the new bathroom would be directly above the current one we can use the same downpipe so we might get away with that too

Sounds doable to me

I started an album 23 minutes ago. I am now halfway through the second track because apparently it is f*****g rush hour for phones.
Also, our next patient is a massive f*****g douchebitch who will no doubt be late and be pissy at me as she is not going anywhere until she pays, which she hates despite being a z list celeb who we know has money. I may even name and shame her if she f**ks around today.
Edit, my bad, she arrived on time. Still looks like a skank.

Why do utility companies take the piss out of their existing customers?
Just recived a renewal notice and thought it was a bit high, 6% increase on last year.
Checked their website, it should be far less,
Called them up, they explained that's an introductory offer for new customers, fair enough, but she immediately offered me 20% discount plus a load of other things for free bringing the price down almost 30%.
I know they hike the prices each year hoping people won't check, but once we invest the time we start looking around we're far more likely to find competitors who offer a cheaper or better service.
