DFJ NOT NOW SILENT SINGER!!!

Dear oh dear Antiworld. What happened?
1. Hard House room: it was completely empty for the majority of the night which didn’t bother me in the slightest because it meant I had more room to dance. I don’t know who the DJ was who was wearing a T-Shirt that said ‘Disco Sucks’ on the front of it but he did a great job! Well done! It was the most I moved all night!
I suppose I would know who he was if the set times had been accurate. Alas they were not.
2. Acid room: dear oh dear. I took note of the DJ’s from about 1:00 - 3:00. The mixing was appalling. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Still, considering one of the DJ’s at the latter half of that time was playing with a huge spliff hanging from his lips, it was hardly surprising.
3. a) Main Room: Lab4 were great - barring the fact that (predictably) they finished with ‘Candyman’. At the beginning of their set I was betting people that they would either start or finish with it. I should have put money on it.
b) Nu NRG: what can I say? Absolutely brilliant set guys. I even danced to your tune Matt (Style) .
to Vinnie - although you should be done under the Trades Description Act - ‘you know when you’ve been Tangoed!’ Why the change of colour?
c) set times: these were about 25 minutes out for the majority of the night. Why?
d) I understand that Mr Liberator had a more pressing engagement, which is fair enough - congratulations (although as I said at the time, I think you have your priorities all wrong. Having a baby surely pales in comparison to playing a set with Andy Farley in front of hundreds/thousands of people? )
e) which leads me to question where the hell Mr Farley was. Did he refuse to play a 35 minute set? Or did you decide not to pay him if Mr Liberator was not going to attend? Whatever the case may be, there is no excuse, on God’s green earth, why the hell, when paying the best part of £20 for a ticket, we should be insulted in the MAIN ROOM by having to listen to what sounded like a demo CD.
Why didn’t you pull one of the DJ’s from one of the smaller rooms and close that room - they were mostly empty anyway?
4. Chill out room: I didn’t spend more than about 5 minutes in there so can’t really comment on it.
5. Nige, you are right about the Rex. It is a shithole - and coming from me, who actually loved Camden Palace, that’s saying something. The bouncers, however, were extremely friendly and courteous.
Overall I had a pretty good night all things considered. I danced and made merry (I even managed to attract one or two randoms. ) I was just very, very disappointed at the seeming lack of interest in what had the potential to be a great night.
to djgloomcookie. It was great to meet you!
To the promoters of Antiworld: you will note I have not slated your event, I am giving you some feedback which I hope you will take seriously. It seems that you just didn’t really care about the clubbers. Putting on CD’s while sets are changed is inexcusable as is putting another CD on to cover the last 40 minutes in the main room. I have never heard of that happening before. I would really, really appreciate an explanation.
If you expect me to fork out for any more of your events, I suggest you take my comments seriously and respond in an appropriate manner.

The person who started the thread obviously used to love this event a lot and has obviously been to a lot of their parties and similar even though I have not, £20 is a lot to pay for an event and people should expect better.

looks to me like the person who started this thread didn't even go to the event. why would they when they've done nothing but slag it off since the start of the year?
like i said, ignore them. and the thread they started about the last one. they're obviously trying to ruin the party through bad publicity so don't back them up.

Would you like me scan my ticket and e-mail or pm it to you space just to prove you really wrong?
How can I ruin a party through bad publicity when i am only pointing out facts? Enrico is doing a good enough job of that on his own without me needing to help him!
The previous thread (the one that was locked because of the rash statements from antiworld crew) was started by slacky saying how good the event had been which was then followed by myself and OTHERS saying how much of a bunch of sh*t it was.
Looks to me like you need both an injection of common sense, purely so you are slightly more balanced yourself and a pair of glasses to enable you to see things more clearly!
Finally like I said on my previous posting do a search for my postings.... I may not have a runaway mouth over loads of topics BUT you will find that I DO post on other subjects if they interest me and I have something I think is valid to say. Unlike some others eh.
