Professor Chill

» Flow State EP

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 05-12-22 13:00

Label: Disco Gecko Recordings
Format: Digital
Genre: Ambient / Dub

Disco Gecko unleashes Professor Chill's Flow State EP on an unsuspecting public. Its a mixture of ambient and dub tracks that are spacey in nature. As an EP, its spacious sound offers a mix of quiet ambience and gentle dub beats.

The vocal track, Beauty, is atmospheric and lovely and could easily find a place on a chillout CD or in a chillout DJ mix. In fact, all of the tracks could be used that way but it is also suitable for home listening as well with gentle beats coming into the mix.

As a whole, the EP flits between quiet ambience and dubby beats. Its an experience and one you need to go on.
