Yes, and a friend of Lisa's who told us how good he is hence me checking him out.

Tim's right - if he did stand as leader and PM I think he'd get massive support from across the board.

Chuka Umunna is a good call Thumbs up His Mayoral bid was strange, we never did get to the bottom of his reasons for pulling out, but whatever they were, I suspect that rules him out of running for any significant position. Shame.

Keir Starmer stands out for his rational approach to Brexit, not sure he's leadership material but one to watch.

I haven't followed Rayner or Thornberry, will check those two.

Corbyn is a worry - going by recent performance I agree he is well placed to become PM. But remember the shambles of his first year as leader, supported by Momentum, but opposed by many Labour MPs. Also, remember his long history of defying the whip. I can't see a Labour government with him as PM lasting very long, there are too many different factions and he's so divisive.

His first year of leader was only so shambolic because of the brexit campaign and MPs who were out of line, currently they are firmly in line, more so than the tories are anyhow. He's earned their silence. That isn't to say it will stay like that but I think there is a fair chance it will.

If... I say if. Wen they do oust May then you have to wonder what this will do to Brexit.
Given the the two front runners, Johnson and Mogg are both firm outers, you wonder if they will charge through with the hard brexit that lots of people, even leavers, don't want. Or whether they ask for more time and look weaker and weaker to Europe.
So, we either burn our bridges or end up looking toothless.

Funny thing is that if there had been no referendum and we wouldn't be in this position... The most soul destroying thing is that it's that weasley cunt Farrage that takes the blame. A fringe party leader that bullied the Conservatives into the referendum (UKIP wasn't really taking voters from the other parties) and has now helped the Tories implode whilst the party he led is pretty much dead and buried now.

A fairly accurate snapshot of it all. A few Tory MPs are talking up Amber Rudd or David Davis but as one put it: “David Davis? If the answer is David Davis, what the fuck is the question? He got smashed to bits by David Cameron, are we really now saying actually he was the right guy and we’re going back to him.

Apparently it is still quite possible to renege on Brexit, lawfully. So if May gets turfed out, Brexit can too.

Or they can hold a new referendum.

Either one is good with me. Both would be ideal.
