Logic say farewell to Lab4
Written by Steve Milton on 28-11-06 00:21 (5469 views) (19 comments)
I’m sure it came as quite a shock to many in the hard dance world both clubbers, djs and promoters alike when Lab4 announced their partnership was to come to an end. Anyone with half a brain will have an opinion on Lab4 and usually voice it given the chance, irrespective of actual knowledge, but if you take a step back and look objectively at the achievements over the last 12 years then it really is difficult to criticise. From the obscurity of their industrial metal background with the band MAD to playing the largest events possible in the hard dance industry in front of thousands, both Adam and Lez have made it to the top and chose to bow out in style with farewell performances around the globe. Earproof yourself
Written by Adam Symbiosis on 24-11-06 02:40 (7526 views) (14 comments)
Hearing is probably one of the last things on people’s minds when they go out. With Funktion One, GAE, Martin and others all jostling to give you crystal clear clarity to your music you could be excused for thinking you’ll hear every last high hat and bass drum perfectly. Especially if it’s coming at you at 110 decibels. That’s where the problems begin though and it something that Peter Van Galen has dedicated his company to. So just how can you earproof yourself? At just the tender aged of 23 he has played all over the world, manages some of the biggest djs on the planet at one of the most prestigious agencies in the industry and co-promotes one of London’s most exciting new house club brands, Maximal. We caught up with the main man in question as he prepares for their biggest event so far at The Key featuring the mighty Switch. [Full Story]

A trip to the Zoo
Written by Adam Symbiosis on 22-11-06 21:50 (4831 views) (14 comments)
A visit to the zoo was in order and an invite had been issued. Come and see a mad cow, a plastic pony, an odd coloured cat and various other reprobates said the invite (or was that just my imagination). Natch. In any case it was a special night, a birthday night and I was visiting Zoology at Brixton’s Club 414.

Warning interview with Getonit
Written by Jazzy on 22-11-06 20:26 (4719 views) (15 comments)
Warning events are the latest in up and coming djs featuring a selection of music genres ranging from hardcore through to hard house. The first Warning took place at the George IV and was originally an event for the celebration of Getonit’s 22nd birthday. It was a raging success, and after receiving great feedback from all involved, Darren has decided to put on an even bigger better Warning at the mass this weekend. I decided to catch up with the horse himself and ask him a few questions about the upcoming event… [Full Story]
