I watched as the cladding went up on one of the end towers that was opposite my flat. They did look better but at what price... absolutely shockingly terrible! On top of that, the Council's lack of response and help to victims and survivors in the immediate aftermath and beyond was dreadful! To be broadcast of help being needed for so long with nothing being done really by the council, seemingly hiding in their offices angered a lot of people! They took notice a bit more when the people marched I noticed! I rang up Kensington and Chelsea Council around the time as I heard they were requesting for people to offer a place for people affected by the tragedy to stay temporarily. There was only a voice message stating something like, they couldn't answer calls as they were too busy helping Grenfell residents!! !
