It is just over 6 weeks until this year's HarderFaster Christmas Extravaganza at Union (Vauxhall) starting at 14:00hrs and we are very pleased to bring you our first announcement....
For this year's party we are focusing on more than just the awesome sounds from your favourite DJs, we want the whole experience to blow you away. We are overwhelmed that Emmazing Party Decor have offered to dress the club for us. This will be the first time that their complete decor package is being used and all of us at HarderFaster cannot wait to see it in all it's glory.
In addition to the beautiful drapes we showcased yesterday, we'll be taking the lighting to a whole new level!
Additional lights and more lazers courtesy of THJ Productions, who are bringing in all their kits.
For the techies that means we'll have Martin Smart Macs, Clay Packy Mini Scans, RGB Lasers & CO2 cannons all running off Avolights Titan one and Resalume for projections.
For the less technical we'll prepare to be dazzled!
The HarderFaster parties have always tried to mix the up and coming DJs of the future alongside the established stars of the scene. The first DJ to be announced is steadily working his way up the ladder, going from success to success. It is with great pleasure we introduce Craig Fowler.
Craig caught the music bug around 1997, after hearing tracks like Brainbug: Benedictus and Signum: What ya got 4 me on mixed-genre dance compilations. It wasn't until 1999, during the genre's commercial explosion, that he learned the name for the sound he loved - Trance music.
A relative newcomer as a DJ - Craig's first gig was at Club 414 in early January 2015. Since then he has gone on to play several more nights there, as well as at other venues for brands such as Friendz, Trance Sanctuary and The Gallery Club.
Craig's musical tastes have developed since the late 90s and it's important to him not to be a DJ who can only play one style. His CD wallets contain tracks from melodic techno and house, through progressive trance and breaks then upwards into progressive and full-on psytrance.
As for what to expect during a set; Craig is all about having fun, experimentation and individuality. Playing something unique and unexpected is more important to him than dropping the latest 'big' tracks. All in all - when in doubt his motto is to "try something a bit different".
We were lucky enough to hear Will play at Lost Dawn's birthday this year and he took the roof off. You can see him next at Zoology's 15th birthday.
After listening to trance CD's since high school, Will first started DJ'ing back in 2007 where he started out with a batch off vinyls and some Numark turntables. As he learned and developed he started to get bookings in his hometown of Brighton at a variety of trance and hard house nights, forging a name for himself in the local scene.
After a break from music from 2010 - 2015 to travel the world, Will relocated to Brixton and started to try and build a new sound and identity around his evolving music tastes. Over the 10 months since his return Will has enjoyed a busy diary of gigs including 3 appearances in the Baby Box at the iconic Ministry Of Sound, Cream & Goodgreef warehouse party and sets at local institution Club 414. He also has a monthly residency on SMX Projects Friday night show on international dance music radio station Trickstar.fm as well as its sister night at the Volks Club. Expect a variety of sounds across techno, psy, and tech trance.

Is it going to snow?
