More: Platform 12 has been dragging musical definition all over clubland for nigh on 2 years now; blurring boundaries and crossing genres, it sits just as happily with electro heads as it does with house and breaks.

The future sound of breakbeat music isn’t just breakbeat at all. If you put house, electro, techno, indie, breakbeat and everything else into a blender, the future sound of breakbeat music would be the juice.

In a very special event Platform 12 have teamed up with Spin Out Records. With pioneering new tracks, they’re right at the forefront of what’s to come and 2 of their key artists Vandal and Metric will be performing on the night. Platform 12 & Spin Out share a similar ethos of bringing new and exciting underground dance music to wider audiences and May 20th will see a full label and clubnight showcase with the DJs license to push the musical direction.

For those needing a break from their breaks, room 2 is being hosted by the ever eclectic Pick n Mix. Their reputation for successfully mixing genres whilst maintaining a party atmosphere made them the obvious choice for us to team up with... The turntable technique of Mr Thing is legendary and his soulful backdrops are renowned for inciting Yungun to drop more of the deep, thought provoking lyrics for which he is now known. Performing live and within the intimacy of room 2, this is a collaboration not to be missed.

An exclusive Spin Out Mix CD is on offer to the first 100 clubbers through the doors.

This is going to be a huge event with us bringing in precisely the people who we think will be shaping the breaks scene in years to come. Vandal & Metric are two of the scene's best producer's whilst the Breakfastaz continue to go from strength to strength.
