If I'm off work or working at home I don't go to the pub. However, I've failed miserably this year so far and only had one dry day. Ultimately I think I need a new job. Keeping it to the wend but not going on a total bender is the best way. Dums here drank shiraz on an empty stomach & spent all of Christmas eve & most of Christmas day in bed.
