Carwash, London's longest running disco club, has partnered up with Guerilla Science and neuroscientists to conduct a live experiment to discover the Science of Disco. We're offering FREE tickets to take part with your friends and help scientists find out the moment when everything suddenly clicks between a group of people dancing and they synchronise their movements 'as one' with the music.
Science of Disco experiment runs from 7.30 - 9.00pm on Saturday 5th December at Carwash, and participants can stay on for free at the club until 3.00am. Face painters will be offering glitter makeovers and sparkly accessories with roller girls taking you through fun dance moves. You'll be asked to wear a state-of-the-art sensor equipped bracelet, which will track your physiological data live as you are dancing, including movements, audio levels and temperature. DJ Annie O will spin tracks from the newly released Carwash Disco Classics album for everyone to dance together, as the neuroscientists gather the data transmitted by the bracelets.

Please note, prompt arrival at 7.30pm is required to take part in the experiment and have free entry to Carwash nightclub afterwards from 9pm-3am. The experiment is supported by the Wellcome Trust and will be following due scientific protocol.
If you wish to attend Carwash without taking part in the experiment, the club will open as normal from 9pm and standard / VIP tickets are available
