Prerequisites: The main requirement we have for listing a DJ is that you must have already played
or have been booked to play at an event that is included in our listings. If you are playing out and the events you play
are not included in our listings, we'd suggest asking the promoter to submit the details to HarderFaster
or submitting them yourself. Click here to go to
our Event Submission page.
Your HarderFaster Username
Creating an account: The DJ pages on HarderFaster are kept up to date by you, the DJ. For this
to be possible you need to first create a login on HarderFaster. This account will allow you to update your
DJ page directly once it has been created. Ideally this login should match your DJ name but this is not
essential (e.g. if your name has already been registered on HarderFaster). To create an account, click on
the 'Register' link above or Click here.
Choosing how your DJ name should appear: HarderFaster will automatically scan upcoming and past events
in our database and include those events that match with your DJ name on your DJ page. This allows our users
to instantly check where their favourite DJ is playing next. For this to work, your DJ name on HarderFaster
has to match exactly the name that promoters give us when they submit the DJ lineups for their events.
So, it's best to avoid names like 'DJMark.E' which rely on promoters remembering
that '.' in your DJ name every time - much better to be just 'Mark E'.
Submitting your details: Once you've created your account on HarderFaster, please email the following
details to djs@HarderFaster.net:
Your Requested DJ Name
Links to HF What's On listings where the EXACT name you are requesting is listed as playing
We'll get back to you as soon as your page has been created, usually around a week or so.
We have a policy in place for DJ pages - if a DJ has no upcoming sets or has not played a set in the past 3 months
(taken from the HarderFaster What's On Guide) their link is moved to the 'Inactive DJs' list at the bottom of the DJs
page. This is because we have a large number of DJs on the list now and need to have a rule to decide which ones should
remain on the page.
Don't worry - your DJ page is still accessible from your profile and under every post you make in the forums.
To get your profile back on the HarderFaster active DJ list just ask a promoter you are playing for to list the event in
the HarderFaster What's On Guide and make sure your name appears in the listing. Your profile will return during the
next DJ update which happens overnight.
