Is it too early to predict a possible 'classic thread' nomination here? Ner Ner!

good call! seems like a few of us like the idea and think it's a positive step for a new up&comer who wants to break on the London scene. then there's a few who would rather moan and bitch. Funny thing is, four times then length of the set has been spent arguing about whether they want to play or not!!!!!!!!! Yes, every week the same DJs. No chance of you giving the future stars a break is there? Razz
Cutting their teeth.? What an insult to the likes of Danny, Ting and Peter Ward who were all well established names before Twist came along.

If there's one thing I hate about you Dan, it's your ability to say what I wanted before I get the chance.

Steve, I think you missed the point being made completely (again). You obviously haven't been reading enough of Mixmag, then you'd know that Halliwell was picked up at a party in a pub or something like that.

Where did you find Karim? Hospital radio?

Sat 3rd July - Trancendance @ Sub-Logic (last set)
Sat 10th July - Frantic vs. Polysexual / Lisatime @ The Coronet. b2b set with Tony P
Fri 30th July - Liquid Tek @ Deep Blue (SEOne)

If were going to insult our own residents can I just say RedCaT has a funny beard. B.S.E smells odd and Elvis is one step away from having a restraining order put out against him. As for Markus. He pretends not to like Hard Dance.

Ouch!

Funnily enough, I would rate deliberately putting down an opposing promotion on the same night you are running a promotion as the most pathetic thing I've seen in a long time.

Volumes spoken...

Yeah, that Play nice, you don't do your promotion any favours by doing otherwise.

As for myself, I was hoping to get my 15 minutes of fame the old fashioned way - i.e. by featuring in Crimewatch

"Dear HHA, I think you should book TheDuke'n'TheDevil because we actually get on with playing records and would spend the 15 minutes on the decks rather than bitching about whether it was a good idea or not to play"

Sounds to me like ur lips are glued to Dickon's ass! Screw you !

I was just beginning to think it was taking a while for that to arrive...............

I'd totally forgotten (silly me!) that this is London. We don't do positivity and supporting good ideas. For the record, my DJ partner Brad Duke has met Dickon, I haven't had the good fortune to so far. I admire his and the rest of the Frantic crew's work in putting on some of the best events I have ever been to and playing some of the best DJs that have become inspirational for us as DJs. I think thias is a great idea that is being put forward and will support it all the way. If this makes some small minded and cynical people cry, then so be it - I know for a fact I would sooner be the positive, happy and encouraging person that I am, rather than a miserable cynic who seeks only to knock and criticise someone else's hard work.

PS I am not in bed with anyone from Frantic.

Doesn't work mate. I've mugged many OAP, stolen many a car, and even robbed at least 3 sweetshops, and still nothing.
