Well this is just fantastic I do love a good debate I must say I was looking on Beatport earlier and I did find one of two new tracks that are ready to be pre sold by people like Ben Stevens on vicious circle they're still making hard dance music so I suppose my question is a little bit mute really but it's good to know the frantic is still going even though it is half full and timeless always used to be a really good night but what is populating the airwaves on the radio I've heard it all this EDM aka hardstyle crap basically. Although some of you might still like hardstyle and I don't mean to offend anybody I just don't think it's a great sound and I'm entitled to my opinion
Latex Zebra Yeah, something is probably happening somewhere.

Hardstyle had it's day in my opinion. It was the harder edge of the German/Euro sound that became it's own thing.
It's way too stop starty and a night can't flow with music like that.
There is good Hardtsyle out there but I'd struggle with a set full of it.

There aren't many lovers of hardstyle or EDM here with the possible exception of DJ Sketchy

I've never liked Hardstyle until Tomorrowland. Ed and I spent 2 half days at Q-Dance and had a fooking blinding time! It was awesome. I gave one Dutch dude a huuuge bump of K and watching his dancing gradually slow down till he was pretty much face flat in the mud was glorious. His mates were in stitches and he was loving it
One dude also got on the railings and rallied us all in front of him so he could jump and crowd surf. haha mad cunt jumped and we all moved away and he literally face planted in the mud. He got up, looked as us all and went and started dancing again like a nutter. Honestly, one of the funniest things ive ever seen.
Such angry music danced to by the happiest people ever. It was actually one fo the main highlights for me at the festival, loved it!

Haha. Just remember at the HF Xmas party, loads of the Trance DJs that all played earlier were proper stomping to the HH that came on later.
I believe a couple of DJs might have been caught going for it on the podiums...

So it's only a once a year thing now. Wow that's probably why it sells out all the time which isn't a bad thing I must admit I did use to get a bit same old same old when I went and attend frantic years and years ago now I'm just basically testing the water to see if there's call for another hard house event hence the reason why I posted this question because I still love my hard dance and no one can drag me away from the scene but if there's no scene that for me to reignite then it's pointless for me I'm not losing anymore money hand over fist like I used to
Is hard dance really dead,,,,, oh has it just lost its way show all that European trash that they call EDM

Get the right line up and a night thats not clashing with another night, at a good venue, I reckon you could do OK by the sounds of it
