Dan does have a reasonably valid point though, fetish nights aren't exactly placed in the same bracket by a lot of venues. imagine if 414 did fetish nights Disturbed

Disturbed
Messy

Hand in hand is the only way to land
And always the right way round
Not broken in pieces
Like hated little meeces
How could we miss
Someone as dumb as this

We're straying far from the point here - it's not about the type of music, it's about the fact that there are NOT literally thousands of venues available. And that bit by bit, the music scene is losing iconic clubs due to "redvelopment" - aka sucking the soul out of the scene. Turnmills, Bagleys, etc. Whatever you feel about 414, it's going to be another victim of the gentrification machine. That's the problem.

Yep, we get that.

Not everyone does though. Particularly DanJ.

Although if he reimagined the 414 as The Kop and that was being demolished for redevelopment and Liverpool had to move, I bet he would be fannywobbling everywhere. Wink

A fetish party is a far cry from a music night.

Have a word.

Laughs out loud

If you say so Mr Expert.

I think it is fair to say that everyone on the Internet is annoying.

Fetish crowds spend a lot of money at the bar. A lot of the people attending are very wealthy and kinky. It's a desirable party to have from a venue owners perspective. You have to have the right kind of venue though and Dan's frankly ludicrous idea that there are countless empty venues waiting for promotions is utter shite.
