Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label is legendary. That is pretty much all there is to say. Tilt are also legendary and have been responsible for a smorgasbord of classics such as Butterfly, Seduction Of Orpheus, I Dream and the epic masterpiece, "Angry Skies". Here, they give us Miracle.
Does Miracle follow suit? Yes and no. Although it lacks the oomph of their classic tracks, Miracle shows a different, more mature, side to Tilt. It is melodic and progressive but it is more grown up, if that's the right word. It certainly, for me at least, fits in with the Tilt discography. There are traces of I Dream in there, which is great as I loved that track. A lot.
With the remixes, Chris Porter follows up his Angry Skies remix with another beast (from the east). Working on the assumption that more power equals more energy, Porter moves through the gears and drops a heavyweight bomb. I'm all over this one like a rash.
Nat Monday drops a slower, more benign, remix for the final mix on offer. Its a more focused version that eases back on the energy but pushes forward on the melody. This one is suited, I feel, for the more progressive DJs amongst you. Cool.
