True, but they would argue that by wearing fur, vintage or not, is encouraging the trade, thus demand.
Personally I think real fur looks disgusting. I remember my father's mother having this fox wrapped around her neck.
Mum too had two fur coats. One custom made.
Being an antique dealer I had quite a few vintage furs over the years. I usually used them out to other dealers to turn a quick profit as they were not my usual type of stock. I have had one that got accidentally left out in the rain for a couple of hours, it didn't smell good after that and I ended up throwing it away.
A lot of the vintage people go in for dead foxes around their necks etc, I don't see the attraction myself. Still mine is not to reason why mine is just to sell and buy.

I was at a funeral in November and some cunt said something rude to someone who was wearing a vintage fur coat she had inherited from her mother. You can't change the past and I have no problem with people wearing vintage fur.
Some coats are stunning. I have seen a £90k coat in my office. It's beautiful, not gonna lie.

Mum's black one was beautifully fitted. It's just when you stop & think how it was made, you just can't bring yourself to accept or touch it.

My diet is about 80% veggie. Yes I wear leather. I just find something sickening about fur. I don't agree with killing an animal just for its coat.
Leather is animal hide. So an animal has been skinned to make it. Sit down, girl.
