Label: Redux Digital
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

Redux Digital is part of the Redux Recordings empire and follows Redux and Redux Red in the sequence. Redux Digital is the digital arm of the label. "2 Minutes To The Night" is the latest offering and contains the original mix and a remix from Rene Ablaze.

The Original Mix is almost like a love song / ballad-type thing. In fact, that's what it is! Its not what you'd expect from a label like Redux but its a fresh-faced idea and contains lovely vocals and an almost pop music feel to it. While I'm divided on pop music in general, this is actually quite sweet and melancholic. I don't know if it will win many fans in the trance but we'll see.

Rene Ablaze fires up the remix and takes the track further into the trance genre. The pop feel of the Original is lost in the structure of the remix, with the pop-esque vocals coming in and being given a clubbier tone. I think the remix might be more suitable for the seasoned clubber and trance fan. For me, its the remix that wins the day for me. I'm still divided on the Original, however.
