OK, obviously hope all innocent passers by and the police officer make speedy recoveries.
Other points that need to be made.
1. Assuming this guy ends up being a Muslim or of Foreign persussian thise just fues the right wing agenda.
2. Suprised it has taken this long, given the attacks in Europe.
3. Teresa May is OK...
Agree 1 and 3, as for 2 yes and no, we've had 7/7 and then rigby but nothing big for 10 years, I think our services have just been paying a lot more attention and effectve than say france/belgium have. But even taking that into account yes, it could easily have happened before.
Maybe it was John Prescott finally having enough of PMQs

As per point 2, it is the anniversary of the Brussels attack too so may be coordinated to fall in line with that.
Agreed that we do seem to be on point in terms of paying attention and being diligent.
Can't afford to get complacent.

I think 2 is partly due to our security services and partly due to luck, but the UK's ban on guns and being surrounded by water have to help.
Latex Zebra Yeah, something is probably happening somewhere.

I work with an ex copper and he says that they have been warned that these hit and run attacks are impossible to prevent or plan for. It's just damage limitation.
Anyone could steal a lorry and be driving down the pavement before someone even realises the lorry has ben nicked.
Once the vehicle is moving, what can you do? Shoot it with an RPG?

Yeah, there are some forms of attack that no one could foresee for sure.
