Pushed some Confederate bullshit and condemned muslims HOURS after the attacks... after taking several days to condemn his nazi supporters.
US President Donald Trump has invoked a debunked myth about a general who fought Islamist militants by using pig's blood to commit mass executions.
The president's tweet came hours after a driver crashed a van into a crowd of people in Barcelona, leaving many dead or injured.
"Do you believe in the devil? You know, a supreme evil being dedicated to the temptation, corruption, and destruction of man?"
"I'm not sure that man needs the help." (Calvin & Hobbes)

I was wondering how Trump would deal with this attack, and he didn't disappoint!

The myth, which has circulated online, refers to General John Pershing's actions during the US war in the Philippines in the early 1900s.
He is said to have rounded up 50 terrorists and then ordered his men to shoot 49 of them, using bullets dipped in pig's blood. The survivor was told to go back and tell his people what happened.

Yeah I read that. Wouldn't the speed of the bullet make any liquid fly off the bullet anyway?
It seems a pointless exercise.
If it doesn't burn up during firing? Although actually that could possibly seal it onto the bullet.
Only one way to find out.
Although the amateur forensic in me questions putting wet bullets in a chamber at all.
Ok, modern guns and bullets will have no problem with moisture. I can't find anything "old school" stuff and don't really have the time or inclination.

Shame the General Pershing story is a myth, otherwise we could look at historic records and see how many shots were on target
