Tap water here in Manchester is grand unlike the piss down south.
What's the deal down there? And don't give me 'cause it's the capital' shite. Madrid water is fine to drink too, same as Dublin.

It's just the demographics of the Country isn't it.

Soft in places and hard in others.

I hate work whip rounds/card signings. I barely know who i am working with let alone anyone in other departments.

And the whole singing happy birthday bollocks is a nonsense too.

Not if your name is bollocks.

Is all this birthday shite it an English thing? I've noticed here how many workplaces get all excited about birthdays.
I don't recall any of this nonsense back home. We just go out for a few drinks with your mates, not colleagues. Never any whip-rounds or stupid cards.

Karma is a beautiful thing.

Wow, I never knew about water in the different parts of the UK. I know tap water in London is bloody disgusting and I buy bottled water but thought it was the same all over the UK.

Not being biased, but South Africa tap was lovely. some of the best council pop I have ever had

I never drank tap water when I lived down there. Manchester is lovely, no probs here. Like I posted, they can't blame it on population cause water is fine to drink in Madrid & Dublin too.
In Madrid they washed the streets every night as well.

Soft water is a fucking nightmare to wash your hair etc. with compared to hard, feels wrong on the skin also.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those that could not hear the music -Nietzsche

Wherever I have lived in London, filling a glass of tap water comes out murky to start and then clears up. Fook that! I buy 24 bottles of 500ml sparking water a week. Cost does ad dup but I am addicted to sparkling water. With some Rose's lime cordial Yum !
