International DJ acts set to descend on SA for Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance 500 tour next
month
Smirnoff, the number one vodka brand in the world, has announced a sizzling DJ line-up to play
alongside world number one DJ, Armin van Buuren, at his ‘A State of Trance 500 Tour’ kicking off in
Johannesburg next month.
The impressive line-up of DJ elite rearing to thrill SA crowds includes Finnish duo Super 8 & Tab, Leon
Bolier from the Netherlands and Chicago based Jake Barrel. With a SAMA nomination for his remix work
on Goldfish’s Pushing Through track and performances at Glastonbury, Tokyo, Moscow and London
under his belt, South African producer Protoculture, will fly the local flag on the decks.

The other DJ’s announced to rock SA at the ‘A State of Trance 500 tour’ include Lange and Jorn van
Deynhoven. Lange is a prolific international DJ who has made appearances for some of the best club
brands in the world including Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Ministry Of Sound. Jorn is known as a
meticulous and creative turntable technician and has been billed as one of the most aspiring new names
to appear in today’s electronic music scene.
Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance 500 Tour’ will start in Johannesburg on 19 March 2011 and then
move to Europe, USA, South America and Australia. Armin will play at an exclusive Cape Town show to
celebrate the anniversary of his 500th show, ahead of the official Johannesburg show on the 17 of March
2011.
