What are you on about?
You, for some reason, suggested that the two of you going out clubbing may have been a date.
She clarified that it certainly wasn't.
What an odd thing to claim. Do you not date many girls?
Yes Danny. What did i claim Danny?

To me that reads exactly as Lexi confirming what he thought was the case: that they definitely were not dates, just going clubbing - as he himself had indicated by saying that he had hooked up with (in the non-shag sense) with a like minded soul. Also, you all knew damn well what he meant you just chose to make more of it than the comment warranted.
no, the point I was picking up on is the 'Not sure if they were dates or not' I would always consider that something pretty fundamental to know in those situations.
Also the fact that it was in a thread about who you have been on dates with.
I would post in a thread about dating .....I went for a drink with Dean Zone the other day. Not sure if it was a date or two mates having a drink.
Blatently, him posting in a 'who have you been on a date with from HF' and saying 'not sure if it was a date or not' was ment to sound at least like it could have been a date.

And you clearly missed the point that i thought that they were MORE LIKE JUST MEETING UP AND GOING CLUBBING.

So you are saying that you did go on a date with lex and that it just felt more like meeting up and going clubbing?

Hanky wrote on 21-08-2008 09:12 AM ... you said (in a thread asking who had dated who on harderfaster) that you had "hooked up" with Lex, which we all know (in dating terminology) means that you shagged her.
Really? Since when? I use the term 'hook up with' to indicate catching up with friends or people; I don't think I've ever heard it used to mean a definitive shag.
Jesus, I wonder what people think when I say "I hooked up with my brother the other day"!
Quite.
I guess Hanky's right, it must be a generational thing.
1. Hooked Up
When 2 people kiss and/or fuck.
'I hooked up with your sister'
2. Hooked Up
Hooking up with someone, making out with them, but not going all the way. Regional usage; note that "hooking up" may mean you went all the way in some places.
"We hooked up last night"
"John and Katie hooked up at the party"
3. hooked up
depending upon the region it generally means two people either made out or fucked.
3. Slang
