For the last couple of years I have been to 51st State this weekend but decided to give this festival a go.I have been to Eastern Electrics on and off since it started at its numerous venues (I did quite like the Hatfield House site)I am not sure if it is still run by Found (AKA Frantic).I quite like the Morden site, which is on a slope but most of the stages are flat or have flat areas (unlike Brockwell Park).Saturday was a House,Techno based event it was very crowded (surprisingly for August) and the crowd is young(they pose a lot and don't really get into it).The production has improved a bit over the years, the main stage is pretty basic but they have upped it a bit in the large tent and a switchyard (open air, made up of shipping containers). It was worth the £25 I paid but not much more.I am likely to return to 51st state next year, which though it has low levels of production has an older more rave type of crowd.
Sunday was much better, this was Grime,Drum & Base,Reggae and Garage it was quieter but the crowd was a greater mix of young and old and were more into getting into the spirit.I will repeat the Sunday.

Suffering from a small case of mood poisoning, must be something I hate.
