Nobody needs to buy anything expensive.

Why buy a Mercedes when you can get an old Mondeo? Why buy a £700 suit when you can buy one from Topman for £200? Why get a villa when you can stay in a basic hotel? Why buy an expensive pram when you can take someones old one?

There is no wrong or right, to suggest otherwise is laughable.

Ironic post is ironic.

You're not known for budget shopping.

That's my choice, it's not wrong or right to do that.

The comments on here are suggesting it's wrong to buy and expensive pram.

I'm saying if you take that stance then there is no point in ever buying anything nice because it's actually not needed. You can always buy something cheaper or even free.

There's a window of calm?!?! How long does it last?

Well, I thought adding a second baby meant I just doubled my work load. BIG GIANT LOL. I feel like there's about 11 seconds in every day where I don't have anything to do. I love those 11 seconds.

I love having a baby boy though, he's so squishy and kissable. Lucy adores him too, he's always got a tiara/lipgloss/Minnie Mouse ears on, much to Ian's delight.

Amazingly it's been a few months now! We've all fallen into a nice little routine, we had some trouble with Thomas eating recently (he is the slowest eater on the planet, he just talks all the time), which was driving us nuts but a sticker chart has sorted that out nicely.

My two get on brilliantly as well, I worked hard for months to make them like each other, if they played nicely together they'd get a random sweet. I based it on the principle of gambling, people repeat behaviors for random rewards, it seems to have worked, although, I do worry that I have essentially groomed them to be gambling addicts when they grow up! Blush

How old are your two now?

No idea where you are getting that from, tooth fairy is an average of a quid per tooth, most I've ever heard was someone giving their kid a fiver, but that was because the tooth had to come out with the dentist and it was a bit of a trauma.

I too thought he said €5 but no, €50! Mind you judging by description of the birthday parties, it's totally out of control over there.

Only love can leave such a mark, only love can heal such a scar.

Nobody said it was wrong to buy an expensive pram. I said, I wouldnt waste money on it when we have a free one iven to us. I spend silly money on things so agree, spend your money as you want but for me, on certain things, If I cna save, I will. A baby pram and inital clothes being one, ill take as much freebies as possible and use the money elsewhere, lke a savings account for my daughter.

I, on the other hand, think a grand is fucking crazy money to spend on a pram.
