Once again I had a wicked night at Wildchild. the only problem was, i was abit Messy and apparently was really rude to my mate, who's night was his first real clubbin experience - which i feel guilty about. Also, i was so fcuked i couldn't recognise the tunes - and if i did, i forget them again straight away. i would have loved to have 'consciously' heard system f - ouf of the blue, which Guffy apparently had in his set, but i can't remember it being played! Still though, amazing night. Minor criticism though (which I have emailed to Wildchild) was the cloak-room.
I've never seen a queue that bad! Also, i wouldn't mind the night lasting til 7am, like before, cos we had 2 wait ages for the tube to open up.

PS.
Apologies to anyone at the front of Room 1 for playing an annoying trumpet all night long!

Love, peace, ecstacy ... and an excessive amount of banging hard trance!Screw you ! Wiggles

Just want to say thank you to everyone that came down, without you it wouldn't have been the night it was. Not worthy...

It was pretty astonishing seeing a club that size full, but I think every room was rocking, esp the Riot! room, which was packed from start to finish, and the main room, which was still almost full at 6am. Incredible. We even had the house room swaying for most of the night. Eek! Wink

All the hard work we put in with, alongside Will, Dickon, Lisa and everyone else from Frantic paid off. Good to see the comments about the production too, getting the club, esp the main room, to look like it did was bloody hard work!

Thanks to everyone who popped in to see me play in the House room as well. By far the best crowd I've played to at a Wildchild yet. Thumbs up Sets that did it for me (and I think I managed to catch a bit of almost every one) Lee n Chris as always (despite the 10 minute "breakdown"), Mr Whitby, Phil B, Phil Reynolds, Shan, Mr Ed (on yer own and with Reece), and Guffy, Donna and Caroline took the roof off in the main room before BK finished things off as he always does. Everyone in my room was quality... Big grin

What can I say? Having been in the club for just over 20 hours in one weekend was a tad surreal, but Hardware was a great finish to the day, even if by then things were a little hazy. Yawn

Roll on 30th May. Cool

One improvement I think would have been to close the funky rooms and replace them with cubicles, which seemed to be scarce.

Just a thought, you understand.

Errrrm I'm afraid I can't agree with you on this one Wink

Well that was pretty good fun, I properly enjoyed myself...saw Snowqueen & Chris, saw Hard House Lady who intro'd me to two HF girls (with letters as the names on HF...please remind me..) ck & ???.

Saw HarryPT, Dan Dyson, BSE & girlie....AND successfully avoided four people from Basingstoke too, woo hoo!!

At first we wandered from room to room - got our bearings and then wasnt sure where to be. The nu breed room was heaps better music wise than I had anticipated, cant remember who I saw off hand (need to see the names)

Attended most of Guffy's set, all of Ed Real's set (1 night in Hackney made me laff - wot a tune!), some of Ed vs Reece, was impressed by some of the Trance room - had a right ole boogie in there....

Saw end of Latex Dan's set and beginning of Daegal Brain's.

Had a photo taken with Dan Dyson....b/f looking really scarey and sweaty and 'hairy' at that point! Nice!

Shame we had to struggle thru the main rooms to get to the funky rooms - didnt get there cos I seriously couldnt be arsed to get there! It was like dancing in a corridor as it was - specially with the 'trains' of chinese people weaving themselves thru the crowds Big grin

born to be wild...Thumbs up

had a very cool time.
-played a nice techno & cheese set. RAW, stay up forever, TEC and harderfasters very own adz - beastie boys remix, alongside the dawn and a little hardhouse bounce.

even got to meet some new HF-ers. 'the best looking person on harderfaster', tink, violet, benz plus some others i dont see so much: queensharona, harry pt, tall tidy girl. so hello to you all Waves

saw so many other HF-ers walking around like day-glo zombies Smile

all in all a very good event. a big well done to all involved. nice to see something be able to live up to its hype.

Big grin
