It is the same old square pegs in round holes situation that we always find ourselves in. The manager has a style he wants to play, he also has a list of his star players that he must pick. He then has to shoehorn those players into the system.
What should happen is the best players for each role should be picked regardless of them playing for one of the traditional big clubs or them being seen by the media as one of the star players.
Does anybody imagine that the Leicester starting 11 are the best 11 players in the Premier League?
