Today we listened to 4 downloaded mixes and yours came out on top!
It is absolute quality! Dark in parts, trancey (as in puts you into one) and the track selection is completely immense! I really really enjoyed this and its now on my ipod for personal use Wasn't so keen on the gimic at the start though Im afriad.

easily 9/10!
You've actually nicely summed up the idea behind the mix as well as the choice of name (well, me being a massive Futurama fan also had a little something to do with the title ).
as for the intro - it was a little gimicy i must admit.

Finally listened to the Hipnotoad! Was really worth the wait, i loved it in fact!
I would agree with whta stu Cox put the beat mixing was a bit shaky in places, but you stated your reasons so its cool!
It built up really nicely. Loved the atmospheric strings in the first few tracks.
Then you really got going from about track 13 onwards, was Techno heaven! Nice one!

cheers mate. glad you liked it.
agreed with the beatmatching point though . hopefully it didnt take too much shine away from the overall mix
this mix was actually very difficault to get the progression just right. took me a few attempted to reach a point where i was happy that it flowed well. sounds like others seem to think it does too

It is a top mix. I'll listen again tonight, I was totally shattered yesterday. But I think it would be perfect before going on a big night out, building from quite calm to full thrash when its time to go!

yeah its a bit of a mix of two halves. i love the 1st half when i'm tired/stressed out as its quite chilled, but the 2nd half does get quite filthy in places
